**Job Title: Yard Loader** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Yard Loader to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading trailers using a large forklift or telehandler, strapping loads securely, and completing necessary paperwork for each load. This role requires working both indoors and outdoors, as well as interacting with truckers and internal employees. **Responsibilities** + Load and unload trailers with a forklift (certification provided internally). + Use large forklifts or telehandlers to load open-air flatbed trucks. + Secure loads of pipe by strapping them down using a variety of straps and ropes. + Complete and manage paperwork for each load. + Work collaboratively with yard employees at two locations. + Occasionally work outside to unload trucks and strap loads. **Essential Skills** + Experience operating large forklifts. + Familiarity with working in a yard setting. + Ability to strap loads securely using straps and ropes. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Pleasant attitude when interacting with truckers and internal employees. + Willingness to work outside on occasion. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers a fantastic work culture with various events throughout the year for all employees to participate in, such as food trucks, fishing trips, and sports games. While the forklifts have enclosed cabs, outdoor work is occasionally necessary.
