Job Title: Yard Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a Yard Technician to operate and maintain equipment around the yard. This role involves handling a variety of machinery and ensuring they are in optimal working condition.

ResponsibilitiesOperate Mini Excavators, Scissor Lifts, Boom Lifts, Forklifts, Skidsteers, and other equipment.Perform greasing and cleaning of equipment.Conduct daily preventative maintenance on all machinery.Essential SkillsGeneral labor experienceEquipment operationMechanical aptitudeExperience as a construction laborerKnowledge of mini excavators, forklifts, and maintenance repairAdditional Skills & Qualifications1-2+ years in the construction industryGood communication skills for customer engagementExperience with forklifts, excavators, and skidsteers is a plus but not requiredBilingual abilities are a plusWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7am to 5pm in Ashland, VA.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ashland, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00
