**Job Title: Yard Worker** **Job Description** As a Yard Worker, you will be responsible for various tasks within the yard. This includes pulling orders from inventory off trucks, retrieving orders from the yard with a forklift, and assisting with deliveries to clients. You will not be driving a vehicle but will ride along with a full-time employee. **Responsibilities** + Pull orders from inventory off trucks. + Retrieve orders from the yard using a forklift. + Assist with deliveries to clients. + Operate and maintain hand tools. + Work collaboratively with other yard workers. **Essential Skills** + At least 6 months of production and forklift experience. + Ability to work with hand tools. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in construction and general labor. **Work Environment** Our team consists of approximately 100 employees, including inventory personnel, office staff, runners, framers, installers, and management. This role involves both indoor and outdoor work, so it's important to be dressed appropriately for the elements. You will work alongside about 25 other yard workers. The standard hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm and every other Saturday from 7:00 am to noon. During busy periods, starting at the end of April, you will be expected to work from 6:00 am to 5:00 pm and still every other Saturday from 7:00 am to noon. The dress code includes jeans and a t-shirt, with gloves, safety glasses, and a hard hat provided. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
