Responsibilities: Manage and supervise hourly employeesResponsible for the motivation and safety of those employees under their supervisionPrepares pre-operational paperworkEnsures area is properly staffed/crewed to meet operational needsCoach and develop employees to obtain resultsResponsible for meeting volume goals, reducing claims, maximizing yields, reducing cost, and employee retention Maintains good working relationships with the Union, USDA, and maintenance employees.Manages job changes/rotationsWork closely with live cattle ensuring all humane handling practices are being properly followed.Responsible for maintaining organization of all receiving paperwork, and keeping open communication between the accounting and procurement teams.Manage the flow of cattle ensuring all USDA and In house processes and paperwork are being followed. Qualifications: · Ability to communicate in English · Bi-lingual preferred but not required · 1 - 2 years proven supervisory experience; preferably in a manufacturing or production environment but not required · Ability to work 50+ hours · People management skills · Must able to work in extreme temperatures The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits: Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;Paid Time off: sick leave, vacation and 6 company observed holidays;401(k): eligible after the 1st day of employment including company match which begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting scheduleBase salary range of $68,800 - $78,000This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan; the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; The company is dedicated to ensuring a safe and secure environment for our team members and visitors.
