Job Summary

As a Yield Enhancement Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will play a crucial role in optimizing Mechanical Line Yield and performance during the NPI, LVM and HVM stage. You will collaborate with various engineering teams to identify and resolve issues and coordinate continuous improvement plan.

Key Responsibilities

Drives yield breakthroughs by understanding the comprehensive test flow across steps, process conditions, product design/operation and propose an effective solution for yield versus reliability requirements.Collaborate with multi-functional team to build frontiers in the areas of yield improvement by demonstrating the knowledge of test flow, bench characterization, MEOL and BEOL processes and technologies.Strong collaboration with Process, Equipment, Quality and Test Engineering to develop best in class process, BKMs and achieve MLY projection.Maintain and improve knowledge and technical expertise, explore innovation opportunities with critical thinking and detailed approach.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and technologies.Expertise in yield monitoring, root cause analysis, and defect characterization.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement process improvements.Familiarity with Statistical Process Controls and 8D investigation procedures.

Preferred Skills

Experience in process integration of PWF and Assembly LineKnowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and technologies.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance manufacturing yield.Focus on process optimization and efficiency improvement.Basic programming skills are a plus.
