JR49096 Yield Technology RDA Process Engineer (Evergreen)

As a Realtime Defect Analysis (RDA) Technology Development Engineer at Micron, you will learn how to use state-of-the-art defect detection equipment and processes to troubleshoot and solve issues. The goal of this position is to accelerate cycles of learning and technology transfer in Technology Development. We need engineers who are passionate about detecting problems and eager to make changes for the better. 
You will have the opportunity to learn defect detection equipment applications and use data analysis skills to identify and solve process issues. This position will provide the opportunity for you to collaborate with engineers in process integration, process development, data science, and yield analysis within and outside of Technology Development. As a Technology Development RDA engineer, your ideas will have the ability to impact the team globally. You will be responsible to support experimentation, data analysis, baseline health metrics, and systematic and random defect improvement through partnering with others in Technical Development and High-Volume Manufacturing.Qualifications: Proactive and passionate about learning (training and coursework)We need an engineer drawn to creative problem solving and innovative solutions.We need someone who will investigate process anomalies, root cause analysis, data manipulation, and correlations.We desire someone ready to learn and apply basic Data Science and Data Manipulation (scripting, coding, or programming)The shown ability to innovate and drive effective change in an energizing environment.Proven combination of flexibility and tenacity in the pursuit of goalsExcellent technical, communication, and analytical skillsGood verbal and written English communication skills.Preference for experience with metrology or inspection related to data analysis and root cause investigation.Responsibilities: Reviewing and analyzing experimental process flows looking for defect anomalies and quarantining process tools that are out of control.Possess a continuous improvement process (CIP) demeanor, looking for ways to improve operations, and how to make a difference today!
