An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the dynamic and innovative Young Person’s service within Warrington as a Young Person's Resilience Worker.
Warrington Young People’s service is a specialist service supporting young people primarily aged 18 and under in relation to substance use.

Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week
Full Time Salary: £27,449.53 - £31,529.41 (based on full time hours, pro rata for part time hours)

ResponsibilitiesAs a Young Person’s Resilience Worker, you’ll work as an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team delivering a range of interventions, utilising a young person-centred approach, empowering them to reduce risk, increase resilience and lead a safe, happy and healthy life.
You will primarily support Young People between the age of 10-18yrs old in the community. Part of this role will entail joint working, facilitating communication between agencies, supporting partner agencies by providing information and advice to our colleagues in regard to substance misuse, the delivery of education workshops, attending risk and safeguarding meetings and providing feedback.
You will be required to carry a caseload of Young People, providing brief advice, comprehensive assessments, care planning, 1:1 psychosocial interventions, group work, community events and outreach for Young People who are using alcohol and/or drugs across Warrington.
You will therefore be required to possess excellent engagement skills and the ability to work in partnership with other services.
This role will also require you to have a good working knowledge and understanding of safeguarding concerns in relation to children and young people.
