Youth Care Worker/Coach Counselor
Salary and Perks
Salary-Hourly role, starting at $48,048 per year. Schedule includes built in overtime each pay period. Starting rate can increase with education and experience. At Silver Oak, we will be providing services to youth with variety of mental health conditions in a therapeutic residential setting.
Daily Expectations and Responsibilities:
Youth Care Workers provide safety and around-the-clock supervision of youth. In this role, you will provide for the physical, personal and health needs of each youth through individual counseling and behavioral/social/physical and educational skill development. Youth Care Workers provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the needs of the youth; monitor and document youth behaviors and activities; and participate and assist with educational, social, athletic and recreational activities. Youth Care Workers work in collaboration with other professional staff to establish and/or meet the goals of each youth’s treatment plan. Youth Care Workers perform standard level paraprofessional work in every aspect of the program operations. This position reports to the Shift Supervisor or designee.
Schedule is:
12 hours shifts,
B Shift: Thursday- Saturday 8am-9pm and Wednesdays 8am-3pm
Requirements:
Posess a high school diploma or equivalent Be at least 21 years of age. Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen (we no longer test for THC), physical, and TB test.
