Job Summary:
Join our compassionate and collaborative team as a Therapist, where you will help individuals, families, and couples address and overcome various mental health challenges. In this role, you will provide essential therapeutic services, including counseling, psychotherapy, and behavior modification techniques. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, diagnose, and treat clients based on their individual needs. This involves conducting thorough assessments to understand presenting concerns, gathering relevant background information, rendering diagnoses, and formulating treatment plans. You will utilize evidence-based interventions to help clients develop coping strategies, improve relationships, and enhance overall well-being, all while contributing to a supportive environment for both clients and team members.

Provide individual, group, family, and/or practical counseling in various settings to meet the needs of clients and their treatment goals.Complete intake/screening and/or comprehensive assessment processes within appropriate time frames.Determine and document diagnoses based on comprehensive assessments.Develop treatment plans for clients in accordance with regulatory/accreditation standards that demonstrate individualization based on assessment information.Participate in clinical staffing/treatment meetings and provide feedback on pertinent cases.Ensure services are documented and entered within the appropriate time frames.Assist clients through the transition process and complete final correspondence such as transition summaries and plans.Represent the agency within the community in a professional manner.Handle crisis situations as they arise, coordinating emergency services if needed.Facilitate group counseling, group education, family therapy, individual sessions, and specialty services including trauma and co-occurring therapy.Provide training and guidance on clinical issues and evidence-based practices to team members.Complete other special functions as deemed necessary by the team leader for client care.Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.Licensure with the applicable board of professional registration as a professional counselor or social worker (LPC, LCSW, LMFT).Willingness to become licensed in additional states and provide telehealth services.Proven expertise in diagnostic criteria related to substance use disorders and/or mental health issues.Additional Qualifications:
Successful completion of background checks including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check.Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.Completion of New Hire Orientation and ongoing training requirements.Physical Requirements:
ADA Consideration - Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, with frequent repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing/writing.Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, with occasional walking or standing required.Position Perks & Benefits:
