Overview Conducts and oversees residential activities, maintains accurate records, provides individual and group guidance to residents, conducts and oversees housekeeping, and maintains accountability system for residents in compliance with the Tribal, State, and/or Federal regulations. Qualifications EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT High school education; or general education degree (GED). EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT At least six (6) months of experience in working with adolescents, volunteer work, teaching/coaching, working with adults requiring group, residential, or home health care supervision. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets Cherokee Nation underwriting rating. OTHER REQUIREMENTS Employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG’s Cumulative Sanction Report or the GSA’s List of Excluded Providers or listed on the OIG’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE). Must meet and maintain pre-employment and periodic background investigation and adjudication for child care. PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit and taste or smell.The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
