SUMMARY OF POSITION:       

Operate and Maintain the Yard Testing Vehicle (YTV)

Operate and maintain the included portable rail detector (walking stick).

Hand Test locations indicated by the portable detector and YTV.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

Generate daily reports as required by the customer.

 

Operate and maintain the testing equipment as required.

 

Perform daily pre trip inspections on the truck, trailer, and YTV as required.

 

Communicate on a daily basis with the customer concerning schedule, daily  

production, and work locations.

 

Communicate with company management on a regular basis.

 

Complete weekly expense, and other reports as required by the customer or Sperry and submit them in a timely manner.

 

Tow the enclosed 16 to 18-foot enclosed trailer containing the YTV to the testing location each day.

 

Ensure company vehicle and trailer are maintained in good condition and serviced as required.
