YVR - Front Desk Agent
Main accountabilities include: This role is the first touch point to the Menzies experience and plays a key role in the coordination of all customer service related activities. Promotes a professional image at all times and complies with company uniform standards. Delivers superior customer service. Deals directly with any issues that may arise and escalates to the appropriate company representative when needed. Assists customers at the front counter including pick-up and delivery requests. Coordinates all related courier activities. Process all related paper work with detail and accuracy. Ensures all documentation is correct prior to releasing Cargo to customers. Coordinates activities between office and warehouse as required. Ensure tasks are performed in accordance with the Company and Airlines specific procedures and policies. Required to attend the mandatory training imposed by the Company and Airlines as per job role. Must practice all company’s Safety Policy inclusive of, but not limited to: wearing PPE when and where required Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications and Experience: Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years of age and legally able to work in Canada. Must be able to communicate verbally, read, and write in English proficiently. Prior cargo, airline operational knowledge experience is an asset Must be able to use related software as required to perform the functions Proficient in MS Office Must be able to speak, read, and write in English proficiently Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays. Must have current driver’s license with no violations over the past 5 years Must be able to lift at least 30 kgs when required Familiarity with or ability to learn how to work within an IT cargo system environment.

Must pass and maintain all required security clearances and Transport Canada Background check
