Work you’ll do

As a Directory Services Engineer, you'll be joining a team of expert engineers and technicians supporting a high-profile government customer. In this role you'll function as part of a team assisting with oversight for Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID services support for current and future initiatives related to the Identity & Access Management services capability.

Work with the Architecture team to implement and integrate technical solutions.Manage customer satisfaction through effectively communicating and managing customer expectations.Assist with data collection efforts to determine optimal directory services model to support cloud adoption strategies. Proactively research and evaluate tools and technologies as appropriate to the Directory Services environment to enhance end-user experience with new product offerings/capabilities.Execute, and manage strategy for Directory Services and related products and platforms. Design, install, configure, and maintain the customer’s Windows Server, Active Directory, and Entra ID-based environments to meet business requirements. Apply advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and knowledge of vendor best practices to maintain the current Active Directory and Identity and Access Management infrastructure. Execute, and manage strategy for Directory services and related products and platforms. In conjunction with lead technical architects, build and develop project plans for all project phases/lifecycle.Manage Vendor maintenance agreements and systems lifecycle.

Qualifications 

Required: 

Bachelor’s Degree required 6+ years of experience with Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) and compliance.6 + years of experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Entra ID Connect.Deep understanding of technical aspects and interoperability of Directory Services in an Enterprise cloud-based environment, including Active Directory architecture, Sites and Services, and management.5+ years of Networking (DNS, DHCP, LDAP, PKI) and Authentication (Kerberos, NTLM, SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth2, single sign-on, MFA) experience.Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell to automate and integrate IAM processes.Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Office and collaborations tools and ServiceNow.Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future Ability to travel 10-15%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator AssociateMicrosoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator AssociateCompTIA Security+CompTIA Networking+Microsoft 365 & Office 365 certs1+ year of experience with assessing ZT principles 1+ year of experience with Active Directory Forest or Entra ID tenant migrations

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $92981 to $163125.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
