Investec has a uniquely advanced ZeroTrust infrastructure for host-based access. 
We are seeking a specialist in this field to work with, and continue to develop and mature, the organization's PAM and Least Privilege journey.  
This is not an entry-level role but does include work of both an operational support and significant developmental/project nature in maturing the solutions.
A broad range of skills are required at a deep level of sophistication for this role.  Fundamentally sound working knowledge of both Windows Server and a range of Linux Server flavours is required.  Complimenting this is the need for a long-standing knowledge of general troubleshooting skills in the integration and network connectivity arena.

Candidates are expected to understand how modern computing architectures communicate and integrate.
The candidate's passion for Security, ZeroTrust, Privilege Account Management and in particular Dynamic JIT Least Privilege are core motivators for the role and you will work with some of the most advanced Least Privilege and ZeroTrust architectures in this field.

Candidates will work primarily to advance the ongoing journey towards a full ZeroTrust environment in all aspects, including host-based, API, Database and other levels of ZeroTrust integration.  Significant interactions with the application teams across the organization globally are required and you will have the unique opportunity to learn about, and integrate with, most of the global banking systems.

Business As Usual 24x7 support of the BeyondTrust application suite and user-incident and problem-remediation will be significant in this role. 

Successful candidate will find the deep expanse of Investec systems to challenge and motivate the mind and are expected to contribute fundamentally to thought leadership and ways to forge new, dynamic and cost-effective solutions to complex and integrated systems.

Owing to the strategically core systems-nature and security posture of the role, candidates must present a deep appreciation for banking systems' governance, uptime, change control and confidentiality of client information and systems administration privileges that accompany the core banking and operational systems housed on all platforms

Candidates are not expected to have any financial application knowledge. 

 

Experience, skills and capability

•    BeyondTrust Suite including EPM / ADB / PMUL / PWS
•    Cyberark Suite
•    Good working knowledge of *Nix operating systems
•    Good working knowledge of Windows operating systems
•    Excellent knowledge of Active Directory and EntraID at an attribute level
•    BASH and PowerShell scripting
•    Basic Database skills, Excel skills, Network troubleshooting
•    Elementary Development skills in C/C# or coding/scripting fundamentals
•    Ability to work with Source Control, GitLab, Git and ADO deployment pipelines
•    Sound knowledge of HTTP / HTTPS
•    Certificates, Keys and Kerberos authentication
•    RestAPI's, Azure Keyvault
•    Multifactor 2FA integration with Radius and SAML
•    Working knowledge Azure Fundamentals
