Job Description:
The Zonal Account Manager is responsible for managing Ethicon’s business operations within the designated territory, which encompasses both private and government entities in Delhi. The role involves defining and implementing local business strategies to enhance customer acceptance, market penetration, sales growth, and overall profitability of the Ethicon product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing Sales and Marketing Strategies: Formulate and execute sales and marketing strategies tailored to the specific market conditions and customer preferences within the territory.
- Commercial Responsibilities: Oversee all commercial aspects, including sales targets, negotiation activities with non-clinical stakeholders, and the management of business deals.
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Collaborate with local and regional stakeholders to develop and implement business strategies that align with Ethicon’s overall objectives, ensuring compliance and profitability.
- Pricing and Contract Management: Responsible for pricing strategies, tender management, and the follow-up of business agreements. Strong negotiation skills are essential to engage with top administrative stakeholders.
- Market Analysis and Information Gathering: Collect, analyze, and disseminate market information.
- Sales and Market Trend Analysis: Conduct comprehensive sales and market trend analyses to identify opportunities and assess market conditions.
- Customer Relationship Management: Foster and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and customers within the assigned territory.
- Strategic Planning and Implementation: Lead the planning and monitoring of account strategies and actions, ensuring their timely implementation.
- Industry Engagement: Participate in industry symposia, medical meetings, and monitor industry trends and business developments.

Minimum of 4-5 years of General Medical Device experience/ Pharma sales with a preference for Medical Device Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Science or Pharmacy.
Experience interacting with non-clinical stakeholders is highly valued.
Proven ability to identify and respond effectively to opportunities and challenges.
Strong clinical and product knowledge to effectively communicate with diverse audiences, including field organizations and customers.
Analytical thinking skills, including systematic information gathering, organization, and synthesis.
Project management skills, including the ability to drive projects in an organized and timely manner, with effective follow-up and collaboration with other departments.
Customer and marketplace experience, including the ability to anticipate and address customer needs (internal or external) through timely program/project implementation.
Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to effectively explain, describe, and convey information in various formal and informal settings.

User-level proficiency in Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
